Hangtown 100 officials have announced due to the wet weather, the conclusion of the event will now take place tomorrow (Sunday November 19th) with cars on track at 3:30pm for engine heat.

“With sunny and dry weather forecasted for Sunday we felt our best plan of attack is to finish off the Hangtown 100 tomorrow,” commented Placerville Speedway Promoter Scott Russell. “With the rain today there’s just no way to have things ready and in racing condition. We can run a quick program tomorrow and get everyone on their way at a decent hour.”

The grandstands will open at 2pm tomorrow (one hour earlier than normal) with cars hitting the speedway for wheel packing at 3:30pm. Hot laps and racing will follow. The pit gate will open at noon.

The first 100 fans through the front gate will also receive a free 2021 Hangtown 100 shirt courtesy of event Promoter Matt Wood.

For fans that are unable to attend on Sunday, who have a Saturday ticket, you can request a refund through your confirmation email.

NASCAR star Kyle Larson will be looking to finish off the Hangtown 100 with another win after claiming victory last night over fellow California natives Logan Seavey and Buddy Kofoid.

The USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midgets put on an outstanding show as usual, with much of the same expected tomorrow, which will be capped by the 100-lap finale.

Washington driver Brock Lemley was also triumphant during the BCRA Lightning Sprint portion of the evening and will be gunning to make it back-to-back tomorrow.
